In Horeko, we talk about Unrecognized import items if information is missing from the file during import, when a unit unknown to Horeko is used, or if the ingredient is already in Horeko but with different information.
In the case of missing information or an unknown unit, you can also find the ingredients in your ingredient list, when creating recipes and when creating a stock. You just can't use it right away, but you can once you've added the missing information.
How do I add the missing information?
Ingredient list - Double-click on the unrecognized ingredient to open it. Check the data in the Price Information section: does it contain a purchase price or usable quantity? Add the missing information and click save. The ingredient can now be used anywhere in your dat
abase.
In a recipe - When you try to add a non-imported ingredient to your recipe, you will get a pop-up window indicating that the ingredient cannot be used due to missing information. You can choose to add another ingredient or add the missing information. Once the information is added, the ingredient is added to your recipe and you can continue to use it throughout your database.
In your inventory - As with recipes, non-imported ingredients can be found. When you want to add them, you will see the notification that you need to add the missing information first. Once you have done this, the ingredient is added to your stock list and you can continue using it in your database.
Other items not imported
Besides the items that are visible, there are also other ingredients that are in your Unrecognized imported items overview. In particular, these will be here because there are other items with, for example, the same name already in the database, but the rest of the information does not match. Therefore, check the overview from time to time, double-click on ingredients and perform any necessary steps.
