With this account migration, Horeko takes over the secure way of logging in from Exact, which requires you to authenticate via two factors. This way, your data is better protected.
How to migrate your account?
How to migrate your account depends on whether you already have an Exact login or not, both situations are explained below.
If you want to migrate your account through the Horeko app, pay attention to what the pop-up says. If the pop-up says that it is better to do it via the computer because you will have to scan a QR code, then do it via the computer.
Situation 1. No Exact account yet
Step 1. When you have logged into app.horeko.com, you will see the pop-up that you need to migrate your account. Click on 'Migrate now' to continue. If you click 'Remind me later,' you will see the pop-up again the next day when you log in. When your time to migrate comes to an end, you will only have the option to migrate right away.
Step 2. Enter your first and last name and click Next.
Step 3. Confirm your mail address, check that this is your personal mail and continue.
Step 4. Check your mailbox and open the mail. Didn't receive an email? Then click 'Send email again'.
Step 5. Open the link by clicking on it or copying it to your browser. Do this within 24 hours of receiving the email, otherwise the link will no longer be valid and you will need to have the email resent (step 4).
Step 6. After you open the link you will be taken to a page where you have to enter your password. Enter the password you use for Horeko. Do you get the message that your password is not yet secure enough? Then enter a new password. Make sure your password meets the following requirements:
*at least 12 characters
*1 capital letter
*1 lowercase letter
*1 number
* 1 special character (for example !@#$%^&*)
Write down your new password in a password manager, this will be your password for Horeko from now on.
Step 7. You are now on the introduction screen. When you click 'Next', you will proceed to the Exact login page.
Step 8. Enter your login information on the Exact login page. The email address is the one you entered in step 3, the password is the one you entered in step 6.
Step 9. Set up 2FA according to the instructions. Depending on your permissions, this can be done via text message or you will need an authentication app for this. If you need to work with an authentication app, you can use any authentication app already on your phone. If you don't already have an app for this, download the Microsoft Authenticator app. After this, you can scan the QR code and enter the authentication code.
Step 10. Log in again with your login details from steps 3 and 6. After this you can continue in Horeko.
Step 11. The migration is complete! You will receive a confirmation e-mail.
